Using both the category 'Maya gods' and 'Maya deities' is confusing. 'Gods' can be understood in contrast to goddesses, but is also, and more generally, a full equivalent of 'deities'. Therefore, there should not be a category (which is really a sub-category) 'Maya gods' under the heading 'Maya deities'. As a matter of fact, the Maya gods include goddesses.86.87.62.150 17:36, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
