This is a non-diffusing subcategory of Category:Politicians. It includes politicians that can also be found in the parent category, or in diffusing subcategories of the parent.

This category lists politicians who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, or those whose sexuality is generally believed to be non-heterosexual.

Note that while there may be significant overlap, this category is not synonymous with Category:LGBT rights activists.
