The Flora of Papua New Guinea, in the WGSRPD, is the flora of the eastern portion of island of New Guinea, i.e. that part of the island that is within the nation state Papua Niugini (Papua New Guinea).

The flora of the nation state of Papua Niugini is divided between this category, the Flora of the Bismarck Archipelago, and the northern (Bougainville Island, etc.) parts of the Flora of the Solomon Islands (archipelago).
