The 1968–69 Yugoslav First Basketball League season was the 25th season of the Yugoslav First Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in SFR Yugoslavia.

Prequalifying tournament

Four teams played qualification tournament - Borac Čačak, 11th placed team from the last season and three best placed teams from the Second division (KK Bosna withdrew from the tournament and Mladost Zagreb replaced them).[1]

Rabotnički - Maribor 56-49; Mladost Zagreb - Maribor 81-78; Borac Čačak - Mladost Zagreb 74-68; Borac Čačak - Rabotnički 70-66; Borac Čačak - Maribor 65-53; Rabotnički - Mladost Zagreb 81-45.[2]
