On second though I have blocked the IP from anonymous editing for 1 year. It is a static IP and I have every intention of keeping the server and thus the IP for at least a year. That will prevent it from editing while logged out. Chillum 23:26, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

tweaking the nipples

Somebody appears to be deliberately creating numerous accounts with user names with "nipple" in them as some sort of test to see if they will be blocked. There has been some extensive discussion on the subject at ANI recently, and whoever is doing this is likely responding to that. None of these accounts are editing at all. I was wondering if we could get the name watching bot to delay reporting "nipple" user names until they have edited at least once. Thanks Beeblebrox (talk) 23:04, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously though, the whole world does not have the same hysterical paranoia about drugs that the US and UK share. Malleus you are as always welcome to draw scrutiny towards any on-wiki behavior of mine. If you think I have in anyway disrupted the encyclopedic project then please do something about it.
I really do appreciate you watching my talk to and looking for any opportunity to correct me. In the future it would be nice if you only enforced the standard the Wikipedia community has set forth and not attempt to enforce your local drug laws/beliefs. In all due honesty, i personally deem it an odd question. Text easily conceals lies - so regardless on the response you cannot really base any form of action onto a textual reaction. If you can demonstrate bad admin conduct due to drug usage we are talking about something, but even then it would just be "abuse of administrative privileges" - the causes really don't matter. If it was a ridiculous question, then you would ignore it. However, your hostile response shows that it is a question that has an answer that you know would damage Chillum and possibly result in his desysopping. As such, your response has done more to harm Chillum than any responses he could make. More conditionals: if someone pointed a water pistol at another and said "Give me the Hope Diamond or I'll shoot!" and the other laughed and said "You're out of your tree", by responding and not ignoring the demand the second person nevertheless did not surrender a belief in the silliness of the action. Chillum, saying that I should come here to talk and then accusing me of making a pointless question are contradictory. One or the other. The drugs you do are at issue, because admin are supposed to be objective. I would like to know if you use drugs while making admin actions. A simple yes or no will suffice. I will choose which drug use I reveal and which I do not(though the first line of my user page should be a fairly strong hint). I don't owe you any sort of response to personal questions. You can go file a report against me, or go get me desysoped, or whatever, but I am not going indulge your nosy questions and backwards attitudes about drugs. Your first sentence seems to lead me to believe you don't understand the distinction between the actions I do and the drugs I do. Oh, and if admins got desysoped for doing drugs, we would not have very many admins. The community has never been anti-drug, my drug use was well know when I started editing in 2006, and when I became an admin, and all through my career. I don't think there is anything wrong with an opinion, is there? RxS deems it a stupid question, so be it. Personally i deem taking drugs stupid, is that a personal attack as well? Furthermore I find threatening people with ANI reports a lot closer to a personal attacks, as it does not assume good faith. Apart from this the argument i made earlier was that if he denies it, you cannot present any evidence of him doing anything wrong. You would argue that we should block or de-sysop preemptively because he may go high wire on drugs? What if i argue that the absolute majority of vandalism comes from IP's, would we also block them all "Just because"? I don't mind in what state people edit, i care about the outcome. If someone vandalizes i don't care if they say they took drugs or if their granny died, its vandalism.
As for being a defender, i don't belief i ever spoke with Chillum before this. I might of course be wrong but i have a rather extensive archive which you are free to browse to prove me wrong. Since you started a topic on User_Talk:Jimbo regarding this i find it little more then natural that people would come here to express their opinion. To conclude: If you can provide any diff of Chillum being out of line, please do so; Ill be more then happy to re-asses the situation then, but even so it would be "admin misconduct" regardless of the reason why. I think that the issue here is trust and responsibility, the comment about the acid was unnecessary and reflects badly on the judgement of a person acting in a position of responsibility here at Wikipedia, and as we can see with the RFA of Chzz, the community does not like undeclared accounts, perhaps you would benefit from community feedback from a Admin appraisal or whatever it is called.
