Uche Nwaefuna // (born 8 May 1997), also known as Uche Montana is a Nigerian actress. She won the Moreklue All Youth Awards (Maya), as the best supporting actress in the TV series Hush. She was also recognized by Ranks Africa as one of the 100 Most Impactful People for 2023 and received an honorary recognition as Actor of the Year by Lagos Magazine for 2023.In 2023, she made her debut in film production with her own company, "Montana Media." Her company has already released two movies, "Light Hearts" and "Fine Letters,".

Early life and career

Uche Nwaefuna was born on 8 May 2000 in Lagos, Nigeria.[1] She grew up in Festac, Lagos State. She attended Loral International School in Festac, where she had both her primary and secondary education. She also attended Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education and later completed her tertiary education with a bachelor’s degree at the University of Lagos.[2] She is of Delta State descent.[3] Montana started acting in 2015, when she made her debut in Poison Ivy.[4] Since then, she had appeared in the Africa Magic television series Hush (2016–2017), which aired on GOtv Africa,[4] The Fake Life of Abuja Housewives, and Hire a Woman.[5]
