Image title	The US Naval Ship POLLUX (T-AKR) is anchored in the harbor off the Port of Pusan, Republic of Korea participating in a Combined Joint Logistics over-the-shore exercise (C/JLOTS) in support of the annual defensive exercise, FOAL EAGLE'98. The POLLUX is a Fast Sealift Ship designed to upgrade lift capability and expand Army preposition afloat program. Attached to the POLLUX’s Starboard side is a Roll on Roll off discharge facility which provides a causeway for vehicles to move from one ship to another. Attached to the causeway along side the POLLUX is a US Army Logistics Support Vessel (LSV) which will transport the vehicles moving from the POLLUX to Pier 8 at thePort of Pusan.
