English: Photograph of Prince Rupert of Teck, son of Princess Alice of Albany and Prince Alexander of Teck. Rupert's grandfather was Prince Leopold, Queen Victoria's youngest son. Through him, Rupert inherited haemophilia, from which he died in a French hospital, after a car crash at the age of 20. His younger brother, Maurice, who died in infancy, may also have been a haemophiliac.
