Description
English: Extensive necrosis on the lower limbs of amateur and professional fishermen of the central regions of Brazil. Envenomations by freshwater stingrays tend to cause skin necrosis and chronic ulcers in the victim, who in most cases had stepped on the stingray in shallow waters. Photo by: Vidal Haddad Junior.
