Summary

Description Starting Quarterback for the National Football League (NFL) San Diego Chargers, Philip Rivers (17), takes the snap from Center, Nick Hardwick (61), during a light practice on the flight deck aboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The Chargers held practice aboard the Navy's newest nuclear powered aircraft carrier in preparation for their first pre-season game against the Green Bay Packers, August 12. During pre-game ceremonies, a military appreciation game will involve Ronald Reagan Sailors and the unfurling of a giant American display flag.
