Summary

Description
Norsk nynorsk: Våpen for Hurum kommune i Buskerud fylke, godkjent ved kongeleg resolusjon 2. februar 1979.
Motiv: På sølv botn to blå skråbjelkar danna ved bylgjesnitt. Motivet skal fyrst og fremst spela på området Hurum ligg i, som ei halvøy mellom Drammensfjorden og Oslofjorden. Med det inneheld også ei tilvising til våpenet til slekta Huitfeldt, som er ein skråbjelke. Familien hadde Tronstad i Hurum som setegard i gamal tid, og det huitfeldske gravkapellet ved Hurum kyrkje er eit minne om dette.
