English: 1954 Original Photo by UNITED PRESS PHOTOGRAPHER AKIRA SEKIGUCHI Henrik Hansen, showing his empty men's sports coat, is Denmark's lone entry in the World Amateur Wrestling Championships at Tokyo, Japan, explains how he arrived penniless in the Japanese capital. Hansen, Silver Medal Winner in the Welterweight Division of the 1948 London Olympics Games, worked his way to Tokyo from Copenhagen on freighters, since transportation funds were not available. Hansen was a Danish sport wrestler. He was born in Frederiksværk. He won a bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling, welterweight class, at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.
