Object history

1610 or 1633: commissioned by Ladislaus Vasa, Warsaw

1964: purchased by National Museum in Warsaw (MNW) from Franciszek Studziński, Paris
Notes Silk satin embroidered with silk, silver and gold thread, gilt strip, bullion and spangels. Also described as a lower part of a coronation mantle. Possibly created for Ladislaus' coronation as a Tsar of Russia in 1610.
