English: The MOS Technology 6501 microprocessor was pin compatible with the Motorola 6800. Introduced in September 1975 and removed from market in March 1976 to settle a lawsuit with Motorola. The 3475 date code indicates this chip was produced in week 34 of 1975, approximately August 27, 1975.
